The Horde
I doodled this in the sketchbook this morning. I planned on coloring it in Photoshop, but I thought that I might try out some of the watercolor paper that I bought at the Pearl Fine Art Supplies store closeout sale a while back.
I scanned the line art and then printed it out on the watercolor paper. I was a little surprised at how well the black lines printed. They also worked well for painting over with watercolor. I like separating the lines from the paint because it gives me the freedom to experiment on cheap paper without worrying about ruining a sheet of more expensive watercolor paper. I’ll have to explore this further.
